Crusties from GZG

2014 is starting with a mobile post from way back when I first got back to Australia. I am struggling with blog motivation, so Im going to begin by re-posting a lot of stuff from instagram you missed during the extended break.

Here are some Crusty power suits and a commander. Enjoy ;)

    1. Thanks TP! The photo blew out the orange a bit.. They are not quite as intense IRL!

    1. Thanks! I still don't have internet access, which makes blogging a huge chore. Hoping to ramp it up though!

  7. I'm not sure if orange specifically looks great this way, or it's just that dark grey/light grey/colour is a good general scheme... Anyway I'm glad to see these :)

    1. Grey and orange looks good in general. It's blown out way strong in this pic though. Glad you like!

  8. Welcome back and great work as always. I like the fact that you kept the same colours for all the miniatures, but still did a different paintjob on both suits.

    1. Thank you! Haha.. I have a very short attention span. Its possible that my whole crusty collection uses the same colors but never a repeated uniform :)

  9. I'm not normally a fan of bold schemes on sci-fi miniatures but these look like they could have been ripped straight out of the pages of a Mass Effect concept art book. Fantastic :)!

    1. Cheers Mike! All my early painting in 15mm was quite military... But it looked really dull on the table. I have found that the brighter and heavier the contrast the better at this scale.

  11. Hiya Spacejacker.

I'm speculatively grabbing the pic in this post to illustrate a blog post I'm doing now (I'm attributing it to you of course). If that's a problem, let me know and I'll remove it.
